Ilias Merabiha is a young french filmmaker currently based in Berlin, Germany. He is now finishing his film studies at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (Academy of Fine Arts Hamburg) under the tutoring of Adina Pintilie.
Ilias worked several years in the audiovisual field, mostly in the camera department and in editing processes. After these experiences, he decided to develop his practice as a film director.
His work tries to explore the land of intimacy and sensority, drawing inspiration from Romantism and Poetic (Sur)realism.
